Big 5 personality traits of psychologists

Hey there,

I was thinking about what personality traits psychologists have in general.

I did not found any sources online.

My estimates for the averages are:
Openness - high (80th percentile)
Conscientiousness - above average (60th percentile)
Extraversion - below average (35th percentile)
Agreeableness - above average (60th percentile)
Neuroticism - average (50th percentile - though I think there might be variance between different groups, e.g. researchers and counsellors)

These estimates are just based on my own thoughts and experiences - what are your thoughts?

Most also have someone in their family who was mentally ill, which is why a lot of us get into this area, trying to figure out what is wrong, then trying to fix them...
Are your opinions formed from personal experience, and if so, how large was your test group?

Do you mean getting into psychology as a profession or as an interest?
