Premature believing flagrantly ignores, bypasses, overrides that truism.
Do we do it intentionally or unwittingly?
"Believing' implies certainty; (even when not factual and so unwarranted).

Why not go to the cause, instead of the remedial approach; that only corrects the effect, not the cause.
That's like putting buckets to catch rain water from a leaky roof.
Some 'believed' thoughts alarm our alarm; needlessly,(false alarm).
