Truth is real. What is not true is not real. Those that believe in, or rely on, what is not true are self-deluded.
I would just like to add that there are subjective truths and universal truths...anything you perceive with your senses is a subjective truth. The wall is green to you, it looks blue to me, that coffee really smells good, I hate the smell of coffee. Universal truths are generally abstract, such as two plus two equal four, but no noe knows what a two or a four look like...
Hope this adds one more dimension for you,
Ivery

Yes Ivery, I thought about this as well. My statement goes for both of these cases.

What is the truth behind sensory perceptions? What is the truth behind logic? Once you 'know' this you will not be able to use language to explain it.

Peter, the science of logic is to find truth. You may use many methods to find truth, inductive and deductive reasoning are the most common, but even then with inductive reasoning there is an accepted margin of error which must be taken into consideration. An example of this would be political polls where a small sample is taken and assumed to be true for a larger group of people. There is usually a stated margin of error to be considered. Generally if our presumptions are correct our deductions are correct, but as I stated above, universal truths are only found abstractly in disciplines such as math...

Our society always hide truth from people because people are unaware what truth is? Until they don't seen truth without been judgmental it won't work it.

There is a difference between knowledge of and 'knowing' the truth. Truth is best described as unconditional, where knowledge is conditional. Truth simply is. It does not need anything. You don't need to understand it to accept it. It is so obvious and doubtless it is simply becomes a 'knowing', and once the truth reaches our consciousness it instantly becomes a conviction (unconditional).

Are you saying that wanting to hear the truth and being ready to hear the truth are equal?
